I had college auditions coming up very quickly. I had been studying voice with Christina for a few years. We focused mainly on pop and Broadway. At the last second I changed my major to Classical Vocal Performance instead of Jazz. With the audition only 3 weeks away, Christina picked out songs for me, taught them to me (in other languages), helped me with the enunciation, and got me feeling prepared. I ended up getting a full ride and a merit scholarship based on my audition. My voice teacher in college was honestly shocked at how good my technique was. She called Christina and thanked her. I still go back every year and sing at the recitals that Christina throws at the end of the year!

I started out taking piano lessons with Christina in 2006. She knew I loved to sing, but that I wasn't trying to do it professionally. I just loved music. She convinced me to take some voice lessons, and within a couple months I could hear a HUGE difference. I would listen to recordings of myself from before and be shocked at the progress I had made. She taught me how to breathe properly, how to stand, how to shape my vowels, etc. I used to be shy about my singing, but now I can sing and accompany myself. And I love it. I am almost finished with college now, and I still have such a great time with her whenever I stop in for a lesson or go to the annual recital! She really is a great role model and friend.

I started lessons with Christina in 2011. She was teaching me voice and flute. She helped me with all of my auditions for choirs, bands, and shows. And, on top of all of that, she taught me how to love music without stress. She taught me how to sing with meaning. How to tell a story through a song... She is such an amazing mentor and helped me so much with my college application process, even though my major had nothing to do with music. Thanks to her, I was able to sing to my husband on my wedding day at my reception and totally surprise him. Christina is an honest, upbeat teacher who will bring out the best in you!
